Creepy, balloons

---

Had a lot of fun doing this pic! I usually save creepy pics for halloween, but honestly I love drawing them :P
Used graphite for the line art as I thought it would suit the pic more
Critiques are much appreciated ! <3

A Stygian specter gathering trophies of those taken before their time?
A macabre minion of death that would be the Grim Reaper's child on her death birthday?
Or a simple representation of the shyest of toddlers collecting the appearances of others to parade around, as she has none of her own?

Whatever was in your mind as you drew this, it's fantastic. Your style is simple, yet that allows the little things to shine. The individuality of the balloon heads gives real meaning to my last little interpretation, that this little one simple wants what she does not have, but they will never be her own. While I like the solid color background, I feel like a small bit of scenery would have been nice. Your color makes the contrast wonderful, though.

The only thing that jumps out in a not-so-great way would be the red shoes. It's probably just me, but they come off as just a bit too bright. Overall though, this is hauntingly beautiful, and beautifully dark.

love this....the benign expression on the skeleton girl is both creepy and endearing. Personally, I like the red shoes....good work! I'm wondering how you got the black background behind graphite...or was that digital graphite?
I'm looking now at the epressionless head balloons....nice contrast with the almost sweet, and more lively skeleton....Irony here because usually the skeleton is the symol of death and here you have made it the aspect that is the most full of life....very cool indeed. I am also impressed by your use of light and dark. There's a nice ratio here. Keep up the great work, kiddo.

I really loved iexcept for the skirt; that last fold on the right side feels wrong, cause her skirt isn't wide enough to allow it and the wind in the picture wouldn't allow it, either.
