A very overdue commission for cae - [link]

It's his character Tama~ I loved the character and the universe descriptions, and Cae allowed me to take a bend on it, so it was really fun! This scene is about her origin and how she was thrown into the oil lake, surrounded by monsters (though my monsters turned out like fish ghosts...), and then she incidentally swallowed one which gives her the ability to spit out rainbow smoke!

This has got some really cool imagery in it. I like the whole picture but my favorite parts are the skeletal arm and rainbow smoke. What a interesting character... I love the backstory.

if you dont mind me asking, ive been trying to create a blend of colors similar to the ones you have in the sky, and I was wondering how you did it. You're such an amazingly huge inspiration it would mean so much ;v;

hi! no worries!
when you lay the 2nd color, make sure the 1st color is not completely dry yet, especially at the edges where you're going to blend. (but be careful because if the whole thing is too wet it'll bleed everywhere) just slowly blend them with some water, and you can get smooth transition from one color to the other. so you have to work a bit fast :)

Hope this helps!?
